Hi,I did the following:
What are good cleaning tools to clean a car?My daughter wants to have car wash so she can raise money for a charity, she is going to charge $ 3.00 or $ 5.00 for each car. But, I don't know what she can clean the cars with. Like a bucket of soapy water or what???

easy. yes, a bucket with some car soap (not dish soap) would be pretty good, as well as a car sponge (a very large sponge found at a hardware store), and if she is smaller, you can get an extender brush to help her reach the tops of the cars. as for drying, some cheap car shammies work great, and dry quickly for repeated use. the can be found at the hardware store as well, or at any local mecanic shop.

Buckets, sponges or soft rags, a garden hose with a sprayer and some gentle soap (hand dishwashing soap is fine).

1.) Soap; Diamond Pro Wash n Wax is awesome, It would be Part# DP215-01. It works well and smells great!

2.) Bucket

3.) Mitt(s)

4.) A soft brush to scrub wheels

5.) California water blade

6.) Chamois

These are what I use to clean my (black) car. Of course 4,5,6 are just a little extra. For $ 3-$ 5, I wouldn't bother with those.

Tell her to read a guide on how to wash a car before she starts. There are a few essential techniques she must learn to wash cars properly and quickly. If she reads the techniques (it might be a good idea to print out a copy so she can refer to a checklist) it will make her job a lot easier and keep the customers happy.

She should also keep an eye on the time so that she can set a correct pace; a clock would be ideal but a cheap throwaway watch (it'll get wet!) would be fine.

Where will she be working? If it's outside your home a hosepipe with a trigger nozzle would make things easier - it depends if there are hosepipe bans in your area though. BTW, from personal experience I find it's a good idea to wrap a couple of cloths around the faucet if you don't want a wet kitchen/bathroom floor.

If all she has is buckets to work with then she should limit it to washing windows, soapy water alone will make the cars even worse if they're not thoroughly rinsed with fresh water. Scrunched-up newspaper is great for removing streaks.

Dish soap is NOT a good idea, it contains a lot of salt. Use car shampoo.
