Hi,I did the following:
Colleges/Universities in the Philly area with good fitness/nutrition/dietitian programs?I am considering going back to school to pursue fitness and nutrition; however, I have been removed from academia for quite some time and have no clue what schools in the Philadelphia area offer good programs in this field. Is anyone aware of what Philadelphia area schools would be worth looking into?

So sorry, don't know too many schools in the Philadelphia Area. I, too, have been away from academia for quite a while. But I do have a thought which I would like to share with you, if you don't mind. 99% of all colleges and universities offer a BS degree in Physical Education. Why not pursue that, with a minor in nutrition. Believe me, I'm not trying to be judgmental, but just practical. I think that after 4 years of college, finding a job in a nutrition field would only be enhanced if you had the PhsEd back up. I think they're both a perfect marriage & you would go far with it. Temple University in Philadelphia probably offers the most degree programs in the city. The answer before mine makes a good point however whatever you choose to study Temple certainly should be considered.
