Hi,I did the following:
What scales should i learn on the guitar?I've learnt major and minor scales and there pentatonic scales(including blues) for soloing purposes what other scales do i need to know?

Well there's all sorts of scales out there, but how much you actually use them is up to you. There are lots of excellent players out there that get by with nothing but pentatonic scales (even playing some really complex music).
There aren't many scales that I'd say you NEED to know. The ones I make a point of teaching are the major scale, its modes, the harmonic and melodic minor scales, the pentatonic scale, the whole tone scale, and the diminished scale. If you're getting into jazz, learn the altered scale (1 b2 b3 b4 b5 b6 b7) and the various mixolydian scales (mixo b9, mixo b9 b13, mixo b13, mixo b9 #9 b13, etc).

You can learn the arpeggio for each key that your playing in. This will add 'voice' to your solo's.
Also your not stuck running up and down the scales all the time.
