Oster Groom Master for body clipping
Can't remember price...about $ 150 or so, and $ 25 or so for blades.
Awesome body clippers..but not good for detail work around head and ears.
I like A-5 for head and ears. I paid around $ 80, and $ 10 for blades.
In a pinch...you can buy generic ones from someplace like Walmart for about $ 10...but they are pretty much a throw-away item after a few trims. Pay attention to blade length...are they adjustable? You will shave to the skin if you're not careful.
I take blades to a western shop and they resharpen them for $ 5 a blade.

When I used to use clippers, I used Oster rechargeable clippers. They were easier because I did not have to worry about a cord and they worked just fine for the clipping that I did.

Wahl K-M2. Price....I bought mine on sale for $ 128 about 5 years ago. They hold up well to moderate demand of grooming 6 dogs every 6 weeks, plus trim jobs on my horses. I have 10, 15, 40, and 5 blades, just depends on how close I need to get. The 16' cord is a real plus too....gives you a lot of freedom of movement.

All-time favorite clippers: adjustable Wahl's from walmart (in the human hair care aisle). They are about $ 25, and if you take care of them I swear they will last forever. They aren't extremely powerful, but you can do legs/face/nose/ears without a problem. A clean horse is key. Also, use an old toothbrush to clean off the blades. WD-40 spray is the best (cheap) lubricant you can find...it's all I ever use.
For body clippers: Lister star. They are a bit pricy at $ 350, but well worth it....quiet, small, easy to hold, very little vibration, and VERY powerful.
