Brother SA120 Gathering Foot
Hi,I did the following:
How can I make my foot stronger for kicking a soccer ball?I am a soccer player and I am dominantly right-footed. I want to be able to play and kick the ball with my left, but it really hurts when I try to and all I can do with my left is pass, barely. I'm not sure if I just have a really weak foot or what the problem is. The pain is usually on the top or outside of my foot. Does anyone know any excercises to fix this? Thanks!

It's not easy to kick accurately with the left when you're a right handed player.
I personally only do when it really necessary. But that's not what you asking yet.
Well, If you feel pain when you kick try to work on it.
Start using it very lightly, let your foot get use to it, passing harder and kicking very light but with that striker (finish skill) touch will help you get on the right track and give it a two leg power play

its not that your left foot is weak, its just that u never really use your left foot. a good exercise to get use to using your left foot is taking a ball and passing the ball to yourself switching between your right foot and your left foot. but when you do that exercise, stand about 5 - 6 ft away. once you get accustomed to using your left, u can start practicing on shooting with your left.

It is really good that you want to use your left, because every player should eventually learn how to. Your left is weaker than your right only because you're not used to using it. I don't think you should be getting pain, so just make sure you're stretching and striking with the right part of your foot. Start simple, pass with your left and try to make it as accurate as possible, and eventually you will work your way up to shooting and kicking hard with your left.

You need to develop strength on the left side. Practice short passes with high accuracy with the inside of your left foot. Use the left foot a lot over a period of 20-30 minutes. Just get used to using that foot and you'll develop strength over time, as well as good technique.
After you are accurate, practice crosses and restarts, like a free kick or a corner kick. Don't try too hard to hit the ball long, just try to add some distance and power.
Build up from there.
