Hi,I did the following:
What do you use for batteries on the xbox wireless controller?I use rechargeable AA batteries, because it charges 4 AAs in 15 minutes and I can use them for everything else that requires AA or AAA batteries. So is it rechargeable batteries, rechargeable battery packs, throw away batteries, or maybe you would prefer built in batteries like ps3.

I don't mind using cheap batteries. I bought a controller that has the charge cable, but the charge cable doesn't even work, and I wasn't able to return it because I bought it at a reduced price when circuit city went out of business.

I buy giant packs of cheap batteries from sam's club. usually cost me about $ 20 and they come in packs of 48. the current pack i've been using is Member's Mark Alkaline Batteries. the life of the controller seems to be decent and so far I've only gone through 10 of the 48 batteries in about 4 months time.

30(2) + 31(2) = 124

so roughly 10 batteries has lasted me 124 days.

124(5)= 620

i can estimate 48 batteries will last me something near 620 days. well over a year.

over a years worth of controller life for $ 20.

i like throw away batteries.

I got a recharge battery pack set for about £15, with two battery packs, so I can charge one and use the other.

It's been great, and I can't be arsed with replacing AA batteries all the time.

what are these guys smokin, rechargeable AA batteries are the way to go. I lawl at ps3.

i use 2.1 gigawatts of electricity that runs through a wire, and can only be recharged by lightning.
