Hi,I did the following:
How long is the typical lifespan of a power toothbrush?I have had my oral b braun for a good 4 years or more. It seems to be dying on me sooner than before. Also it putts a lot and nearly dies when in use. I have tried draining the power completely and recharging but still acts like that. Is it probably time for a new power brush?

4 years is actually pretty good. The rechargeable batteries don't last forever. In a shaver you can replace the batteries, but toothbrushes are sealed, so you have to replace the whole thing.

I've had an oral B vitality for about the same amount of time and don't have any issues with it, but if it's not taking a charge that's a sure sign the battery is shot and you'll need another one sooner than later.

Please dispose of the battery in an environmentally responsible manner when you do - those things can contaminate an awful lot of ground water.

If it is not recharging well , then yes , the battery is probably spent .
Maybe try the Sonicare ?

They all last a different amount of time depending on how you use them.

From what I understand though you would get a lot more use out of a good pair of open toe leather sandals once your feet have stopped growing.
