Hi,I did the following:
Which diaper cream is the best?I have tried 3:
Burt's Bees -- gentle, but does not cure diaper rash!
Balmex -- soft cream that cures diaper rash
Desitin -- firmer cream that is more oily but seems to cure diaper rash quickly and stays on for more than one diaper change.
What do you think and are there any other brands I should try?
Desitin smells bad.

Desitin is my choice.

Triple Paste is what I have used since the beginning. I tried a bunch of others but my son had such sensitive skin and it really helped the rashes. It is pricey, but I have tried others and don't like them or their smells :( !!

Beaudreaux's Butt Paste -- hands down the absolute best! It's gentle, soft, wipes off easily AND cures diaper rash. No harsh smells or chemicals. Awesome stuff!!!!

Butt Paste. My son had awful diarrhea a few weeks a go and from all the wiping, he had a horrible rash. I put some butt paste before bed and when he woke up, the rash was gone. Also A&D works pretty good too.

sometimes diaper cream is bad if the rash gets to the blistery or worse stage... I highly recommend you use baby powder with corn starch... it relieves it asap.

I used desitin regularly and Triple Paste for tougher jobs!

I used Desitin Overnight (purple tube) for my son and it worked wonders. I didnt just use it at night, I used it during the day, and by the next few diaper changes, the rash was gone.
I used Balmex and Johnson & Johnsons and they didnt work for me.

I'm not sure if you can get it there, but here in Australia, I use bepanthen religiously.
It smells divine, and my baby's bum is the smoothest it's ever been!
He got bad nappy rash too, that cured it right up.
Sudo cream the job too, but doesn't smell as good!
EDIT: There is a product called 'Butt Paste'? Oh that is nifty! I wish they sold that here!
