Hi,I did the following:
Are there such things as weight gain nutrition bars?Over winter break my doctor told me I had six months to gain 15 pounds, otherwise she was going to put me on a strictly regulated diet. Over the summer she had told me to gain 20 pounds, but through eating a lot of healthy foods I was only able to gain 5 pounds between summer and winter. I was wondering if there are any nutrition bars that will help me gain the 15 pounds I need by June?

I'm going through the same situation as you, and it's hard. I eat Luna bars as snacks because they're healthy and have a good amount of calories for a snack when you're gaining weight. Also, Ensure protein shakes with added calories are a good source of healthy calories. Also alvacados are healthy and have good fats and calories. Good luck!

i will recommend you stick to eating healthy starchy foods like whole wheat pasta, potatoes, corn, etc if you are trying to gain weight and its best you gain the weight as lean muscle so protein is important. i recommend protein shakes and protein bars if you want to gain the weight faster... go to gnc.com you can find great products to gain weight.

in order to gain weight you either need to work out a lot to build muscle, which weighs more than fat, or increase your calorie intake so that you're consuming more than you're expending each day. I had to gain weight too; I gained about 25 lbs in less than three years. I did it really gradually though; you can do it way faster than that. I found that Balance Bars, Clif Bars, and Tiger's Milk Bars were a good way to add calories to my diet - and with so many tasty varieties, when I got tired of one I would just switch it out for something else. They're about 150 to 300 calories a bar. And they have good amounts of protein and fiber in them too, so it doesn't feel like you're eating something unhealthy.

Up your protien intake. Protien bars are a great start. Un used protien will turn into fat but if you exercise more and really up your protien you will gain more mass aka pounds, and not be flabby. Try adding peanut butter on begels for breakfast, eggs of course, avacados on your salads, and yes yes yes to protien bars
