Hi,I did the following:
what kind of handheld radio would be best during a zombie invasion?I am doing a project for school (12th grade sci fi class) to make a plan in case of a zombie attack. You need to make a emergency kit, and I was wondering what type of radio (handheld) would be best to use in a zombie invasion? One that would contact the widest variety of people (police, government, one that recieves a channel of an emergency, etc etc etc). Thanks for answering!

Ham radio

A Kaito AM/FM/Shortwave radio that is crank and solar powered.
You'll need the ham radio when the AM and FM stations go down, and the zombie apocalypse will shut down power supplies, so hand crank and solar powered radios will be a must.
I think some Kaito radios have an adapter for headphones and a microphone in case you need to get a message out.

A short round one would be the best.
So it won't hurt so badly when you get it shoved up yourass.
