Hi,I did the following:
How can i treat my 7 months old's cough, cold, and difficulty of breathing?I have a doctor's appointment on Saturday. But i just can't wait until then. She is taking Fenistil drops for her cold, it's an anti hestimin. I noticed that her cough is increasing. She also couldn't use the pacifier because she doesn't breathe easily. However, she doesn't have fever.
Unlike all countries, our weekend is Thursday and Friday.
Oh, and i went to a doctor for her 4 days ago and he said its minor and gave her fenistil

If she is having DOB and it is getting worse you need to get her help now and take her quickly to the doctor or the emergency room!

take her before sat. or go to the ER, it doesn't matter she doesn't have fever!

GO TO THE DOCTOR! when you are worried about breathing for a baby i wouldn't take any chances. if you don't have insurance, go to a county hospital your baby's life is more important than your pride.

take her to the ER. When my kids got this way i always used a nebulizer, it helped open up their airways and got them breathing better again. It'll help with the cough as well

For the cough, i would go to the pharmacy, or a pediatrician and get a breathing treatment prescription, when you get it (the prescription and the breathing machine) hold it near your daughters nose, until its empty. Or go to E.R.

I bet the DRs say this...
...Clean out her nose and then use saline drops several times a day. Usually everytime you change her diaper. Use a cool mist Humidifier or let her sit in her car seat while you are in the shower or the shower is running. Start at least the saline right away. Oh, and pedialite if she can't keep formula or breast milk down.
Good luck, but still go to the Drs ASAP.

I used a Vicks Vaporizer in the room we shared. It worked great. I would rub some Vicks on her feet so the vapors can rise up and help ease her coughing, congestion, and stuffy nose.

Johnson's makes a vapor bath soap for babies. Also use a vaporizer in a closed room. If you don't have one, Walgreen's has some. I buy the Vick's ones that you fill with water. They cost around $ 20. If this doesn't help then take her to the doctor again.

humidifier, nose saline, bulb suction, prop the head of her mattress..
the saline and bulb suction are the most important.. you can do it as many times as need to clear her airways.
