Hi,I did the following:
What brand of toddler training pants do you like and where are they the cheapest? We are planning to start toilet training our son and wondered if there is a difference between name brand and store brand training pants. We got a pack of Pampers Pull-Ups with the Cool Feel liner because it happened to be on sale, but was wondering what brands people have tried and where do you find that they are the cheapest (Walmart, BJ's, Costco, etc)?

I have found the pull ups to be more confusing for the kids cause even though they have an accident it will get absorbed I just put my son in underpants and for like the first week until he understood the feeling I put him on the toilet about every 30 minutes, if you do use pull ups I found huggies to be the best and I would buy them at wal mart that is what we started with now the difference between the cool lining is I paid more money and they didn't make a difference and finally after like 3 weeks of buying those expensive pull ups I resorted to underwear and it has worked great just keep checking to see if he/she needs to pee or poop. Good luck I know potty training can be tiring.

I found that while Potty training my 2 kids that the huggies pullups cool alert works best, and are also the most hypoallergenic that i found. They were also the cheapest I found, for their quality. I always bought them at walmart, because they had the lowest price per training pant of any of the stores that I checked. I know how important price is especcially since I am a single dad, and money can be a real issue sometimes. Hope this helps.

i tried a few different training pants including the feel n learn types. in my experience they were an absolute waste. i agree that they are just too confusing to children. what worked best for us was just regular undies.

I didn't find pull ups to be any help at with the training process. It's best to just put them in underwear. We didn't use pull ups at all unless we were out shopping and that was after they potty training was going really well. I wouldn't waste the money on them till your son starts doing well but you want to use them for going "bye bye"
None of them really hold well because they aren't made to but I used the White Cloud ones from Walmart. There is a $ 3.00 off coupon in every bag so after you buy the first bag-the rest of them will be $ 3 cheaper!
good luck

I used Pampers all the time... learning designs and cool alert. Ummm.... She did get better once we started using the cool alert but they were so hard to find for girls in 2T. So anyway, I found them cheapest at FoodLion actually and CVS. One or the other would always have them on sale. Istead of paying like 13-15 dollars for them they were 9 and 10.00.
They definitely worked for my baby. We started in the begginning of December for potty training and she started her "big girl panties" this month. so only 2 or 3 months.
And she hasn't peed in the bed at all or on herself while we were out at all. NOT ONCE. She understands, not to pee pee in her big girl panties.
Good Luck.
